Lakeside Tiki Bar to relax after a day of fun out on the lake.

If you’d rather be on dry land, but still enjoy the beauty of the lake, you’ve got a multitude of
options! The Lake Dillon Amphitheatre offers weekly free evening concerts in the summer.
There are also miles of paved bike paths around Lake Dillon, very popular with bikers,
rollerbladers, walkers, runners, and the like. Public parks appear around the lake, perfect for
picnics with a gorgeous view.

Dillon is also home to the County’s only bowling alley and multiplex movie theaters. Dillon
also offers great dining, shopping, and locally owned specialty stores.
SILVERTHORNE
Silverthorne/Wildernest is centrally located in Summit County, just minutes from 5

the summer outdoor enthusiast, Frisco is home to the Peninsula recreation area, which has
several campgrounds, a multi-purpose field, a disc-golf course, picnic area, and a multitude of
hiking and biking trails.

The trails wind among the trees and along the shores of Lake Dillon, supplying breathtaking
views. For the more extreme tastes, there are mountain biking trails for all abilities
throughout Frisco. If you didn’t bring your bike, don’t worry, just rent one from one of the
high quality shops in town.

Also in the summer, enjoy near-by Lake Dillon and the Frisco Bay Marina. If kayaking, canoing
and fishing are your idea of fun, Lake Dillon is just a stone’s throw away. You can rent
sailboats, pontoons, canoes, kayaks, and runabouts at the marina for a day of fun on the lake.

In the winter months, Frisco’s Peninsula recreation area is home to one of Colorado’s best,
the Frisco Nordic Center. The center has over 35 kilometers of trails for skiers of any ability.
